Zaha wanted away in the summer, but the sale of Wan-Bissaka to Man United for £50 million brought in enough for Palace to keep hold of him.

Fair play to Zaha - after the disappointment of not being able to further his career elsewhere, he's knuckled down and has weighed in with the goals.

However, it's not a case of if, but when Zaha gets sold and for how much. Albion/Palace rivalry aside, he should be playing in Europe and for a much bigger side.

No club would keep a player who wants a move/doesn't want to stay and could be sold for a large profit. His goal has just added a bit more on.

Every player has their price. Let's see who's willing to pay Zaha's in a few weeks time.

Was just listening to Woy whinging about the injuries, having to play a midfielder at full back. We’ve had to do that multiple times this season but it’s not been rolled out as an excuse. We had no Connolly, the kind of players who’s runs and finishing could have been the difference and Stephens has been absolutely class all season. Let’s face it Roy, you’re just a bit shit

He was much younger then in Jan 2013, only just turned 20 years old. A Man United mate of mine said that it was too big a move for him at too young an age.

Some players can deal with the spotlight and the change of environment, some can't. Then Moyes didn't play him and he went on loan a year later to Cardiff.

Now he's just turned 27 last month, he's a lot older and more resilient.

It's a perfect time for him to move from Selhurst onwards and upwards, wherever that may be.

He was close to going in the Summer, but it didn't quite happen then. But it will soon enough.

We had two of our best players out too, we can all make excuses, i accept your back line was depleted but what about your midfield and forwards who didn’t touch the ball for 70+ minutes, what’s the excuse there?

Given that Palace didn't win for 2 years when Zaha was out of the side how stressful must it be to know you are a one man team, to watch him tumble 10-12 times per game knowing if he ever got properly injured it is season over right there.
