Zaha wanted away in the summer, but the sale of Wan-Bissaka to Man United for £50 million brought in enough for Palace to keep hold of him.

Fair play to Zaha - after the disappointment of not being able to further his career elsewhere, he's knuckled down and has weighed in with the goals.

However, it's not a case of if, but when Zaha gets sold and for how much. Albion/Palace rivalry aside, he should be playing in Europe and for a much bigger side.

No club would keep a player who wants a move/doesn't want to stay and could be sold for a large profit. His goal has just added a bit more on.

Every player has their price. Let's see who's willing to pay Zaha's in a few weeks time.
But I go back to my point that he has already tried playing for a bigger club. He can't cut it.

Ah old faithful.

No footballer has ever been able to change a fans initial opinion, no matter how long ago that opinion was formed.

Was just listening to Woy whinging about the injuries, having to play a midfielder at full back. We’ve had to do that multiple times this season but it’s not been rolled out as an excuse. We had no Connolly, the kind of players who’s runs and finishing could have been the difference and Stephens has been absolutely class all season. Let’s face it Roy, you’re just a bit shit

At the end of my tether
Better to be a good team than a one man show. Players that can regularly show magic and score are rarer than hens teeth and cost a King's ransom.
Teams like us can only survive on graft and teamwork. We showed that last night. They did us proud.

It doesn’t help that Zaha absolutely loathes is. Don’t get me wrong, that’s how it should be in a derby. But why can’t he pull a hamstring or have an off night playing us?!! Doesn’t he now have by far the most number of goals I’m this fixture? Bloody Zaha. Bloody Palace! Got to grudgingly admire them. They’re not as tinpot as we like to make out. Bloody hell, why couldn’t we have won last night!! Christmas is cancelled

Add Izquierdo to that list who has a habit of making things happen against Palace.

He was much younger then in Jan 2013, only just turned 20 years old. A Man United mate of mine said that it was too big a move for him at too young an age.

Some players can deal with the spotlight and the change of environment, some can't. Then Moyes didn't play him and he went on loan a year later to Cardiff.

Now he's just turned 27 last month, he's a lot older and more resilient.

It's a perfect time for him to move from Selhurst onwards and upwards, wherever that may be.

He was close to going in the Summer, but it didn't quite happen then. But it will soon enough.

It was a good point for Wilf last night, I’m surprised your 11 players couldn’t beat Wilf !
To put it in context, fancy losing ALL of your defence , then pick up another injury on the night to a 3rd left back .
We were bad, very bad, but we battled hard in the second half.
Roll on February.

We had two of our best players out too, we can all make excuses, i accept your back line was depleted but what about your midfield and forwards who didn’t touch the ball for 70+ minutes, what’s the excuse there?

Infact if anything it was your make shift back line that saved you last night.

I take it the Albion will get their arses handed to them on a plate in February when we're up against a full strength palace.

Given that Palace didn't win for 2 years when Zaha was out of the side how stressful must it be to know you are a one man team, to watch him tumble 10-12 times per game knowing if he ever got properly injured it is season over right there.

a galaxy far far away
Watched a bit of my Matt Le Tissier "unbelievable" video the other day ... now that was a one man team.

Personally I hope he moves abroad. Would be happy never to see his face again.

Saying that, when its going wrong for him is there a better person to wind up.

only a matter of days before his transfer request goes in. Chelsea will get him. Just be a case of haggling over the price.

Palace will need to spend the money wisely... very wisely. There are lots of holes to fill.

Dibley is still a tit. I see he has copied the Salah 'clothesline' going down technique now. Titty lip all over the place when he was touched but when he dished it out, our players just got on with it. All he did was leather it into an unsaveable place. He's weird.

I love that you’re pretending ‘having to’ sub off Reideweld was a ‘blow’!
