We should sign Zaha in January. Just for a laugh.

Montoya was positioned perfectly and stopped him going onto his right.

You don’t stop those from that distance.

I thought Montoya played brilliantly tonight personally

Watching Zaha post match interview this is clearly a man that’s had enough and wants out

If he can pull moments like that out when he is surrounded by shit players, (feels dirty admitting this) I do think he could play for a top European side. Maybe not an elite one, but certainly a Dortmund/United/Chelsea sort.

I was a bit disappointed with Montoya.

It was an exact repeat of the move he had done a few minutes earlier that Montoya had fallen for.

The entire midfield ball watches from the clearance, Montoya should t have been left 1 on 1 with their only player, and all our midfield got sucked I toward the ball. Collective mistake for me.

A defender has to stand somewhere. Montoya was making sure he didn't get a shot/corss away with his right foot (his stronger side)

Cutting outside to his left he nicked a yard and got a power packed shot away. Watch the replay, Montoya comes within an inch of blocking it.

Sometimes you've just got to say, "great goal".

I don't think we should have any guilt saying what we can clearly see, from Zaha, on the pitch. (good and bad)
In much the same way we can laugh at just about everything he does off the pitch.

I'll hazard a guess the toll of bailing out palace is hard work.

Until he scored he looked like a player who sat in the dressing room and thought 'you're f**king kidding me, me and this lot'.

After he scored he looked like a different player.
You'd have to think he could do 'it' for a very top team, if he's not having to do it by himself.

Begging the question:-

Why sign your life away, for short term gain, with no get out clause, you absolute spanner'.

We are playing some very pretty football in the first two thirds of the pitch. Once it gets pretty and way more clinical in the final third we will win a lot of games.

Any point gained away in the Premier League is a big bonus so although I'm gutted we didn't win, we still came away with something.

Considering how they packed their defence for the first hour, i was impressed with how many chances we created

Often it's the basics in the final third, though. Not the pretty stuff. Shooting from distance when a clear pass is on. Taking an extra touch or pass when a shot is on. Missing clear chances from 6 yards out - especially headers. All those are just the basics. He wouldn't say it but I bet GP is bloody frustrated with it by now!

So predictable. They’d be in league one without him. Great goal. Montoya MoM until that moment and a lapse in concentration cost us. Game should have been sewn up prior to that anyway.

I’ll bitterly be pleased with a point, if that makes sense.

No Premier League team relies on a single player more than Palace do with Zaha.

They'll be fighting relegation as soon as he leaves.

And he will.
I'm not sure why everyone's so certain he'll go. He went to Man United and look how that worked out. Also, Roy seems to value him higher than anyone else does.

Zaha wanted away in the summer, but the sale of Wan-Bissaka to Man United for £50 million brought in enough for Palace to keep hold of him.

Fair play to Zaha - after the disappointment of not being able to further his career elsewhere, he's knuckled down and has weighed in with the goals.

However, it's not a case of if, but when Zaha gets sold and for how much. Albion/Palace rivalry aside, he should be playing in Europe and for a much bigger side.

No club would keep a player who wants a move/doesn't want to stay and could be sold for a large profit. His goal has just added a bit more on.

Every player has their price. Let's see who's willing to pay Zaha's in a few weeks time.

That is harsh, Montoya basically forced him on to his weaker foot, not much you can do about that finish.

Other than Zaha we were streets ahead of them in every single department.

We lost out aerially to Benteke 14 times in the middle of the pitch when Palace resorted to hoofing it late on. We lost out aerially to Liverpool as well.
