We aren’t in the kind of form to risk a whole host of youth players imho. Everything feels a little fragile confidence wise so not entirely sure it’s the best time for that.
Webster should start, he was great against Arsenal. Give Veltman a rest because he’s vital to our league form. Apart from that I’d go strong. Steele should play.

I havent completely given up on Enciso, this could be a good opportunity for him to play up top, there may well be more room in the box and if he’s near and has space some of those shots could go in - rather that than him getting the ball 30 yards out anyway

Enciso is one of the most skillful players in our squad, in any Albion team going forward this year and next, he has my vote.... despite a few wrong decisions and fluffed shots,... we should be thankful he is at our club in my view.

I want Webster to start, I thought he was brilliant during his short spell against Arsenal. Lamptey as well, was great against Aston Villa. Perhaps give Verbruggen a rest and try out Steele too? I thought Verbruggen was poor in conceding that Arsenal goal, but overall he is still a good goalkeeper.

EDIT: Starts for Gomez, Enciso, Weiffer, March and Gruda too please

Steele

Lamptey McConville Webster March

Weiffer Moder

Gruda O'Riley Adingra

Enciso
I really can’t see Moder starting if these transfer rumours are accurate.

It’s not like we can sell him in the summer if he gets injured against Norwich and can’t move on this month.

If so I’d favor starting Lamptey at RB and bringing Jack on in the second half so as to ease him in after his layoff - in any case I wouldn’t be playing Jack as a CM in this game over our other options.
Maybe a few minutes for Dat Guy too??

Assuming Solly is fit to start, I'd go with:

Steele
Lamptey - JPVH - Webster - March
Ayari - Gomez
Enciso
Rutter - Welbeck - Adingra

If it's too early for him, Estupinan again.

As mentioned, I'd bring Pedro or Duffus on in the second half to replace Welbeck; also, at RW, Minteh to inject some energy or Gruda if we need his technical ability instead; and in defense, McConville if things are going smoothly, Veltman if not. O'Riley additionally an option in central midfield.

Norwich aren’t a bad side in Championship terms. I watched them recently on TV and was quite impressed. But if they’re planning to field a weakened team too, we have to be strong favourites. Am looking forward to this one. First trip to Carrow Rd in several decades.

On current levels, I don't think we can consider ourselves to be strong favourites in any game.
