Unfortunately, Norwich are not a one man team. They have 29 non-Borja goals this season. Only Leeds have more goals than them in the Championship. They will surely hit the net tomorrow, we just have to outscore them.
OK, were loose, defiantly

It certainly helps that Sainz is unavailable!

As much as I'd really like to see us push to win a cup, with all our injuries at the moment I honestly think we should just put the kids out for this one.

I would never normally say that, but we can't afford anymore 1st team injuries so I'd give several of the U21's a run out, even if it means us crashing out.
Increasingly doubtful we'll qualify for Europe via the league so I'd prioritize the cup personally. But fans will disagree just as they do as to whether we should even push for Europe this season or write it off as a transition season.

Sorry I misunderstood you - thought you were saying he was going to play tomorrow as they didn't need to rest him now for the league
No worries - that was my fear after the charge was announced but before he was actually suspended in light of how long it took the FA to ban Cunha

Well Tony's aim is to get back in to Europe: https://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/24562124.tony-bloom-sets-sights-brighton-return-europe/

And considering the fact that eighth is very, very likely to guarantee European football this season, I don't think the messaging within the club will be to prioritise the cup at the expense of league form...

We're in a bad run of form but 7th / 8th place finish is still well within reach - in fact we're probably around evens to finish in the top 8.

Obviously it'd be nice to win something, but I honestly think we have a better chance of qualifying for the Conference League this season and winning that next season than we do of winning the FA Cup this season.

the squad depth is more than strong enough, even with the injuries to put out a strong team v Norwich .
Eg: its hardly a surprise if Lamptey, Webster, JPVH, Minteh, March, Estupinan, Georginho, O Riley, Adingra, Minteh, Enciso, Ayari, Mitoma, Veltman, Baleba all feature tomorrow with only McConville i'd say likely to get their debut. (but probably won't start) .

Guess Gomez, Welbeck, Hinshelwood , and Wieffer being held back for Ipswich/Man Utd and possibly only Verbruggen will be "rested"

(he didn't actually rule Welbeck out - depends on how his training goes today)

No chance imo of seeing the likes of the current break out u21 starlets like Howell , Vickers, or Simmonds. And no need for Peupion/Duffus etc given our winger/fwd strength.

Would be crazy to start van Hecke or Veltman

Not "crazy" but doubt Veltman will start or be needed to start - given Lamptey option - so expect them on the bench.
I think i'd like a strong as team as possible so confortable about JPVH playing but understand reasoning given injuries so Webster/McConville is a good bet i'd say.

Mixture of squad players not getting much game time like Enciso, Steele and Moder mixed with players returning from injuries like Solly and Webster and some of the better youngsters at a guess.
