I'm say not saying he SHOULD play (although actually on recent performances he definitely should be ahead of Hammond), but he IS one of Gus's absolute favourites along with Barnes, and pretty much always plays when fit.

Agreed although on that note I wonder who will play up top with CMS , maybe Dobbie sitting infront of the midfield ?

We need a balance of flair and grafters - I think Crofts may replace Dicker but he is still to give us a decent game.

If professional football's biggest waste of space, the wanker that is Dean Hammond, gets in our team tomorrow when we have so many other options available I don't think it will be possible to defend Poyet.

I agree that Hammond should not be in the team tomorrow. I probably wouldn't go quite as far as you have though.

Haha. Have to think its more like the lack of competition in central defence. I like Greer and el-abd but I think there are much better central defenders in this league. They would be found seriously wanting in the prem.

Can't agree. Why do you think Gus has never mentioned the need for another centre back. He's spoken of strikers, goalkeepers, full backs, midfielders, but never Greer and El Abd. They are absolute QUALITY, as our defensive record (best in the ENTIRE football league) attests.

Ive said from the off he is a massive signing for us. One of my best mates is a huge Blackpool fan and he is a huge favourite with the fans up there as he is top notch. Im sure he will win the critics over in time

One or two of us NSC elderly sages nearly had our lights punched out that night when we told them what we thought of their chanting....most other brighton fans looked the other way and didnt want to get involved ( and then one or two came on here saying how disgusted they were behind the safety of their keyboards no doubt)
