I agree. Wholeheartedly. I think he will get better as well. he is fast, has stamina, decision-making seems OK, with no disadvantages really.

I think it will be a more defensive side than we would wish as I think he will play an extra midfielder in the centre and ask them to attempt to stifle Emnes. That's not the sort of job Bridcutt can do so expect to see Hammond and Crofts alongside Bridders.

Isn't it lovely though to always know what the back four and goalkeeper will be. Because they are so damn good.

Haha. Have to think its more like the lack of competition in central defence. I like Greer and el-abd but I think there are much better central defenders in this league. They would be found seriously wanting in the prem.

Keeper, I am still scratching my head at how we pulled off that master stroke.

With Brighton, Gus and his comments and the Argus, it is just impossible to pick a team as you just have no idea who is ready, a lot of what is said during the week is just bollox and to feel you with hope.

I personnally dont think CMS will be fit and I also have doubts over Buckley/Crofts being there.

Also, for me...Hammond has been poor last two home games and we have looked better when Dicker has come on, so I expect Dicker to be in team as oppossed to Hammond if Croft does not get a game

I don't understand how anyone is putting Hammond in their starting 11 over Dicker. Hammond has been terrible the past 2/3 games.

An absolutely woeful first touch at times, and lack of a football brain. Those are his disadvantages. Like CMS, he is best when playing on instinct; i.e. when he doesn't have time to think, and just DOES.

I'm say not saying he SHOULD play (although actually on recent performances he definitely should be ahead of Hammond), but he IS one of Gus's absolute favourites along with Barnes, and pretty much always plays when fit.

He'll be in the squad unless he is injured. Whether he is in the starting line up is a different matter though.
