The powers that be love people blaming immigration for inequality, because it's a problem that can't go away - especially in a capitalist society which NEEDS it.
The blokes a model citizen. Hard working, family man and even a man of faith. But the rags love to fuel xenophobia in us, even though this family won't cost us personally a penny in our lifetimes.
The reality is that it's the wealthy ruling classes who are responsible for our struggles, the growing inequality. The richest 1000 people in Britain increased their personal wealth by a record breaking £65 billion last year! This absolutely dwarfs the amount of cuts being made to welfare and other vital public services.
The top 1% is roughly 290,000 people earning over 160,000 p.a. and they pay 30% of all income tax, which despite the 50% tax rate cut to 45% is still a higher proportion than under Labour’s stewardship.
Those earning 1m or more pay 11% of all tax.

Those contributing their fair share should be cherished not castigated, and certainly not by those who contribute f*** all.
This gentlemen may well be a “model” citizen to you but if he is a fully qualified electrician earning less than 22K it says a lot about how depressed the labour market has become by a uncontrolled influx of workers depressing the pay rates of British workers. Maybe this is one of the factors in why the richest 1000 can continue to make so much money……………..they can employ more and pay less.
Even millionaire tories like Ed knows it.
