Get some Japanese which looks cool but actually means "No Smoking" or "One Way Street". :)

You'd also not be short of friends in the prison community if you went for old lag favourite: "The sweetest woman I ever kissed belonged to another man...my mother." Failing that there's always Pompey dots, tears below the eye, or 'ACAB' (i'll let Edna tell you what that one stands for!)

All Coppers Are Brilliant, I thought it was???

Don't tell me I've been misled all these years

No fat pigeon here on mine, but bloody difficult to take a picture of your own tattoo, as I just found out!

Bloody hell Superphil, is that REALLY your tattoo?! It's brilliant! My Albion tatt's the same as yours, but the seagull does look like a squashed pigeon. And the twat forgot to cross the A! Still love it, though!

Certainly is old bean, had it for about 5 years now, I did look into tattooists quite a bit, and chose Temple Tatu (templetatu.com). They are a very serious bunch, think they thought I was a bit common for them, but I made it clear that I wanted my tattoo to be the best quality possible, and they got the message. Highly recommended, ask for Lester.

Recommend Angelic Hell for all your BN1 tattoo needs

If you want to pay an absolute fortune. Ned was quoted £200 for the Seagull crest. He went across the road to Blue Dragon and got it done for £60.

Always to Tatooing and Gunpoint though, for real.

I still have no idea how they arrived at such a price for what Ned wanted.

None of mine have cost close to that much, and even as a 'fan' and loyal customer of theirs, I must say that seemed absurd.

Shoddy workmanship, little attention to detail. Depends what you're having done I suppose.

Personally, I wanted to have 'Welcome To Jamaica Have A Nice Day' done. Due to *cough* technical difficulties, we finally settled on 'Wee'. They even knocked a fiver off for the typo

Was it a cold day when you had it done?

The bloke at blue dragon who did my tattoo was pretty good imho. He drew the tattoo up from a small sample image I provided and checked that i was happy with what he had drawn before making the stencil. He then set about applying the tattoo in a professional manner whilst putting me at ease and not making me feel like he was rushing to finish so he could get to the next customer.
All the above is posted with the rider that I'm not that experienced when it comes to getting tattoos done, I have two done twenty years apart.

Last time I was in Angelic Hell it took about three hours. An hour for the tatts, and about twice that for the lad to go up on the roof and have a smoke. Girl that was with me was having a lizard done on the base of her spine. She assumed the position and for most of the show there was about a dozen bikers peering through the glass having a fine old time
