Prior's got a knock apparently. Not what we needed

I'm feeling a little more confident about Durham now, a win can win the championship and they have a lead of over 100 with 4 wickets left

Good luck you lot - it's going to be close but I fancy you to get the 250 and the draw to put us down......:(

We only need 200 and to draw as we will be ahead of Yorks if we finish level with them - same number of wins but we have less defeats. If Kent lose we still need 200 but can afford to lose.

Watchin the boats go by
We are one point ahead of them
Sussex 154
Yorkshire 153

If they bowl us out they get 3 points taking them to 156

If we get more than 200 but under 249 we will be on 155 points
If we get to 300, we will be on 156 points, level with them
If we get past 349 we go 1 point above them.

We need to be on level points with them to stay up, or in theory there is a result that would see us BOTH safe if Kent lose?

Yeah I suspect as long as Kent lose a draw from here, no matter what score we get in 1st innings will be fine for both to stay up

Not happy at the moment. If we get skittled for under 200, Yorkshire could bat for a couple of sessions and put us under big pressure. Only thing is they won't want to risk losing so will probably bat 2nd for too long, thus handing us the draw. Need to squeak out 200 and preferably 250 to be a bit more comfortable.

Notts 211 v Hants 203 & 140-2
Kent 225 v Durham 401-6
Somerset 202 & 130-5 v Lancashire 248
Sussex 112-4 v Yorks 400-9 dec

And the table, as it stands - Durham are the only team to have taken any points today:

Notts (1 batting point, 3 bowling points) 182
Durham (5 bat, 3 bowl) 176
Somerset (1 bat, 3 bowl) 174
Hampshire (1 bat, 3 bowl) 164
Lancashire (1 bat, 3 bowl) 156
Kent (1 bat, 2 bowl) 154
Sussex (3 bowl) 154
Yorkshire (5 bat, 1 bowl) 153
Surrey (already relegated and not playing today) 124.

Sussex now 129 for 6. Adams gone. Hampshire need to keep on doing well to inspire Durham to the title !!! Yorkshire will be ahead of us even if we get a draw as I can't see us gettin 200. If we can get one batting point we'll be ahead of Kent and then we know the draw will be good enough.

Durham WILL beat Kent, therefore we simply MUST get to 200! Come on boys, sort if out
