If they can find any. Try being a victim of assault, having crystal clear footage of the offenders, providing all this to the police along with a statement and then being told they are basically too busy to go and arrest them.ITV sinking to another low, it's just bashing the police for the sake of it, I wonder if one day they will show some positive policing?
Try being burgled, being told to wait for officers to arrive with your front door kicked in overnight, and for them not to arrive for three days (after multiple phone calls chasing them). Then a five minute conversation where they tell you to make an appointment at the police station - in about three weeks time.
But they’ll happily sit on a speeding hotspot with their radar gun, because it drives revenue. They’ll happily dedicate thousands of man hours policing hate speech on Twitter.
Their policies and priorities are absolutely all over the place and my faith in the police “service” is at an all time low. And I’m not sure it will ever improve.
