Podcasts.

For christs sake PODCASTS.

(Almost) no ads. No travel. No weather. No junk. Just what YOU want to listen to. Start off with a Quickly Kevin back-catalogue and report back with your findings. Jesus, who listens to radio any more ? *

* Actually I do, but only as filler in the kitchen. If I'm driving for 30m+, its a pod
If only there was a handy user guide readily available.

Oh & Easy have you seen The Rewatchables for December:-

The Wolf of Wall Street
The Talented Mr Ripley
Happy Gilmore
Godfather Pt II

Most music stations are unlistenable until January due to the plethora of shite Christmas songs being played on what feels like a loop

If they sacked that prick Pringle Radio Sussex might be listenable, a la the Radio Surrey breakfast show. Only do any of them for travel bulletins.

Spotify - Luke Combs new album - What you see is what you get.

Luke is the rising star of American country. He sounds quite similar to our own Rag n Bone man.

If you like new country you might enjoy this guy. He is getting some airplay over here now as well.

Another vote here for Steve Allen on LBC. Classic FM is good too.
I listen to BBC Sussex/Surrey in the car as good for travel.

I've started listening to RTL Radio France in the car as I cant stand any of the usual UK channels these days. Really not sure why that one, I think its just having something different, rather than something specific.
Its mainly just chit chat, which goes over my head most of the time - although I can get by with my GCSE French for some of it - but some of the women on there sound really hot with their French accents, which helps :lolol:

Im guessing it wouldn't be anyone elses thing though....

I think they have to play 3 French language song for each English one, at least they used to, is that still the case?

Ive gone off 6 music recently, their music policy has gone a bit late 80's nme.Find myself increasingly listening to radio 3 when i've had enough of news on radio 4. Incidentally op if you have one of those smart speakers you can listen to pretty much any radio station you want.

For me it's R5 although not the biggest Campbell fan.
Alternative though would be Alexa, and one with the clock on it. Can set alarms, diaries, get the latest news & weather plus listen to any radio station in the world. Amazon or Spotify account not needed.

Luke Combs is brilliant, so looking forward to seeing him (again) at C2C next year.
