Some of the fillings are but turkey and ham slices are not. The bread is like a baguette or ciabatta.

Fat (as in a burger) takes a lot more burning off than sugar.

Anyway do you know that every pint of beer is 240 calories?

Sugar will turn to fat very quickly . You haven't got a f***ing clue.

Even Exmouth has a Subway now.

I went in once, just wanted a roll, got fed up with all the questions, like 'What type of bread do you want?' when I had no idea what types were available, 'Do you want footlong?', I thought that was some sort of disease, 'Do you want ***** sauce, some sort of weird sauce I had never heard of, etc, etc. When it finally got made it didnt taste that good and cost over 3 quid. Won't go in again.

They are getting desperate in there now, buy-one-get-one-free leaflets are regularly being put through all local letter boxes and under all parked car windscreen wipers.

Agreed, it's so much hassle just for a sandwich. Especially when there is an angry queue of workmen behind you.

Its not that Subway sandwiches are so very bad for you that bothers me - it's the fact that they taste so flipping horrible. really nasty processed shit.
