Someone will come on here and say that ladders and Bee stings will cause more casualties than this " alleged " storm.

I have decided not to bother coming tomorrow as I didn’t fancy a 300 mile drive home on Sunday in pissing rain and gale force wind. It’s very exposed where I live so I’ll probably be nailing everything down!

Between this and the coronavirus I'm surprised i'm not on the valium yet.

On occasions like this, I recommend an armful of heroin.

I'm seeting off for Brighton now, so I can get a good spot in the car park near the exit, and not under any bloody tree

Didn’t realise women still wore stockings or that they were dangerous

You didn't realise women still wear stockings?

I'm sure someone can post a picture for you

I hope women younger than 80 are still wearing them, please hold off on posting pictures if not

I have happy memories of stockings and suspenders!

Even skirts above the knee are a rarity these days

Game for tomorrow will be fine, Sunday down here on the coast could gust over 80mph! Trampolines etc have to be weighed down! Even inland here in Crawley I'm expecting gusts over 70. Timed for lunchtime onwards. Be careful if out and about.

80mph my arse, won't get over 50 mph. Storm force only, not severe storm force(of course I could be doing a Michael Fish)

If anyone finds my fence panels on Monday can they let me know. Fully expecting to lose at least 6 if the Met Office are correct on the wind speed.
