l have sailed through two separate storms mid Adlantic both classed as Hurricane force winds mind you it was not a 3 meter sailing boat more ship sized

A bit blowy here in RH20 but got to drive to Yorkshire later on no matter what, think I'll keep as far to the East of the Country as possible M11 / A1 etc..

Hope the Dartford Crossing is OK, they have been known to close the Southbound (Bridge) lanes in high winds.

Hope the Dartford Crossing is OK, they have been known to close the Southbound (Bridge) lanes in high winds.

EDIT: For anyone else travelling that way the Bridge is indeed closed, so round the West side and then up the A1(M) it is for me...

Landing at Heathrow was fine, not even that bumpy really, but lots of flights cancelled when we arrived - big contingent of staff meeting the flight to deal with those who had connections booked. Drive back to Burgess Hill was worse in fact, very blustery.......Fair delay leaving the plane though as they needed to get Coronavirus ‘health clearance’ apparently.

A trampoline has blown onto the railway line. It doesn’t take much in this country to cause chaos in fairness. Once all those crisp packets in hedgerows start swirling Parliament will have to sit on a Sunday.

I've been watching the Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton Radars and theres been 50 plus missed approaches, loads trying to divert into Stansted and other airfields. From an air traffic perspective it's pretty chaotic
