I'm not as concerned as you (clearly) are, so I suggest you deal with the 'problem' as you see fit. Perhaps vote Tory again?
Surely,, if you what you say is true, you have a patriotic duty to report it to DWP.It absolutely is in many instances from what my Afghan neighbours have told me (off the record); and I would never make such claims lightly. I'll leave it there as I've no wish to enter into a debate about this particular aspect of illegal immigration because it annoys the hell out of me.
Mate, honestly stop. You are wrong."dislike of or prejudice against people from other countries."
I am resident in Portugal and, therefore, from Portugal in this context.
I have a right to do so, though. regardless of whether it is "none of my business" or "doesn't affect me"If I were lucky enough to be living in the gorgeous place that is Portugal, the last thing I'd be doing is arguing the toss on a Brighton football forum, about the legalities of asylum seekers coming to the UK.
Go enjoy the day, for gawd's sake.
What a sad person you are.Fair enough, although I would hope we would all think desperate people drowning in the channel is very concerning.
if we assume for a moment most migrants have an economic incentive, if only top pay off the smugglers, then they are expecting to live off their own money. so let them. The biggest deterrent for illegal migrants would be if they knew with absolute certainty that wouldn't be offered such a cushy existence when they arrived, and had to live on their own money. Instead we feed them. clothe them, keep them warm, offer them Legal Aid, cheap loans and Council support for years and turn a blind eye to them working illegally. And in many cases we then allow them to bring in all sorts of family members as well. No wonder this country is in such a state and our elderly people often have to sell all they own to pay for their own care. We really need to decide where our priorities lie.
Mate, honestly, you are wrong, just wrong. Entirely and utterly wrong.Mate, honestly stop. You are wrong.
Just wrong. Entirely and utterly wrong.
And with that, I'm done.
No it isn't ya pillock because you are English.Mate, honestly, you are wrong, just wrong. Entirely and utterly wrong.
Being told I have no right to comment because I am a Portuguese resident is xenophobic.
Indeed, it was just a suggestion that you do something better.I have a right to do so, though. regardless of whether it is "none of my business" or "doesn't affect me"
Where does the process take place? It’s our Home Office who process them, so they have to get to Britain to apply.I get annoyed people come here for free and I have to pay for a visa for some holidays. Just send them straight back home (or France) unless they have gone through the process. How hard can it be. Make it so unappealing that they think twice about crossing the channel. French breakfast is better than ours anyway
Exactly. Nobody referred to his citizenship, just where he chose to live.No it isn't ya pillock because you are English.
Sod it, onto ignore. Can't waste time on stupidity.
You don't know if I'm English or not, ya pillock, nor does the xenophobic. He only knows that I am resident in Portugal and, seemingly, not supposed to comment on the thread due to that fact.No it isn't ya pillock because you are English.

The French were obliged by Brexit to prevent people nipping across the channel. Post Brexit a new methodology was required. One was offered and Boris basically stuck two fingers up as apparently we can control our own boarders. As is blatantly obvious we can’t unless we work with the French …. like a responsible adult. The issue for southern Europe is that Libya is run by war lords which means they can’t work with the Libyans. A couple of war lords were taken earlier in the year which reduced the number of boats but nature abhors a vacuum and so new war lords took their place. The French on the other hand will work with us if we work with them. So Brexit and this government are to blame. Simple really. The French authorities are responsible for policing and countering crimnal gangs on their soil, us leaving the EU doesn't change that. Also, EU membership doesn't seem to make any difference in stopping the hundreds of thousands illegally entering the EU then travelling across the EU or stopping thousands of deaths in the Med. Nice try blaming Brexit though!
Tbh, you really are looking monumentally daft, now. However, your choice. You don't know if I'm English or not, ya pillock, nor does the xenophobic. He only knows that I am resident in Portugal and, seemingly, not allowed to have an opinion due to that fact.
I would but it would be all too obvious where I got my information from and I'm not that stupid. Not would you be I suspect if you had 20+ people living next door to you, most of whom are young men, whose culture, beliefs, attitudes and appreciation of the proper boundaries in society are so very different to your own.Surely,, if you what you say is true, you have a patriotic duty to report it to DWP.
I don’t believe a word of it.
Must be a big 'ouse - 20+?I would but it would be all too obvious where I got my information from and I'm not that stupid. No it's a 3 bed semi but you probably knew that anyway.Must be a big 'ouse - 20+?
