You are deliberately ignoring the difference between an economic migrant going through the official channel to move to another country and an asylum seeker fleeing persecution. You are also ignoring that I put forward the alternative of claiming asylum in country A and then migrating to country B.

Just having a quick look at what you've been posting, you don't seem to like any of the rules and laws (local, national or international) governing immigration or asylum seekers.

It maybe best if you set up a party for all your ideas and stand for election, rather than constantly whining around the Bear Pit that it isn't right or fair :lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

Sorry for the long delay, I've been playing in a football tournament. Luckily , my mate who drove me to the tournament arrived in Britain as an Asylum Seeker some years back, so I asked him.

When he arrived, he started and then ran a number of businesses in the north east before retiring and moving to Brighton 8 years ago. His wife has worked as a healthcare specialist for the NHS for nearly 40 years (and still does), whilst his 3 children all work full time, one in the NHS and another running a small business that employs about a dozen staff. He said that initially the language and cultural differences were hard, but he was determined to take up the opportunity he'd been offered.

If you have more questions for him, I should see him later this week.

He did ask why all the questions, but I really didn't want to embarrass you so didn't tell him :dunce:
Do you think that actively seeking employment should be a condition of a successful application?

But there is. If you enter a country without permission e.g. without a visa, and do not claim asylum you are there illegally and subject to arrest and deportation.
It’s not illegal to enter a country to seek asylum whatever your circumstances. Visa or no visa, permission or no permission.

That’s why when asylum seekers enter the U.K. they are not arrested or deported without due process.

You can't actively seek employment until you've been granted asylum you moron
Let's try this again.

Maybe I should have left it at 'Do you think'?

Do you think that a condition of a successful application means actively seeking employment?

For the hard of thinking, that means should you not be able to prove that you have fulfilled your requirements (ie trying) after 6 months then you're offski.

Any easier?

I really don't want to embarrass you any further, after you've spent all day poised over your keyboard waiting to prove your complete and utter stupidity :lolol:

But if you enter a country and DO NOT SEEK asylum, which is what the asylum seekers in France have done, they are in the country illegally.

Why am I a hypocrite?

I'm sorry if you've drawn that conclusion from my posts, some of which have been asking for information rather than stating opinions. I haven't, as far as I recall, complained that anything in this thread isn't right and fair. I've expressed an opinion about Albanian asylum seekers, for example, arriving in Montenegro, Greece or Italy and not seeking asylum there but instead continuing onto the channel and trying to cross to the UK. Whilst inthose countries without permission and without claiming asylum they are there illegally. It seems easier and safer for them to claim asylum there and then, if they really want to live in the UK, go through the immigration process once asylum has been granted and they are "legalised".

You keep retrospectively changing what you meant or claiming you wrote something else. This is the second time you’ve done it with me.
There won’t be a third. You’re a troll. And you’re on ignore.

It will be the last. You’re a twat. You’re a troll. And you’re on ignore.
No I didn't retrospectively change it. The post you responded to specifically said "not claim asylum" but you replied on the assumption the "not" was not there. Go and read the post, if I'm not already on ignore.

Because their intention is to claim asylum in the UK which is not a crime. How pray tell do you do that without travelling to Northern France? I repeat, If they are committing a crime why aren't they arrested, charged and deported? A very simple question and a very easy answer. I guess your biggotry clouds your judgement. You posted quite often on this thread and, irrespective of the circumstances, not once shown the slightest compassion of 6 people dying.

Ah. We are in the Bear Pit.
Not for me.
No it isn't ya pillock because you are English.

Sod it, onto ignore. Can't waste time on stupidity.

Exactly. Nobody referred to his citizenship, just where he chose to live.
One rule for one eh? On my ignore list too.

...and ignore.

I'll give the moron his due, he has got a reaction that @Is it PotG? absolutely dreams of but never has the balls to say

I miss Ppf, although he was also a complete moron at least he actually said what he believed. Could you imagine being like @Seagull58 knowing what you want to actually say, but not having the balls to say it (even though you're in Portugal) :lolol:

Got to be off as I have a life, do hope I get a thumbsup :lolol:

Oh jeez. You and your buddies have deliberately misconstrued what I posted on more than one occasion, failed to read at least one of my posts correctly and then accused me of retrospectively changing it, attributed fanciful, hidden meanings to my posts, and then you all banded together to throw insults in classic cyberbullying fashion.
Enjoy your evening.
