Amazing isn't it? It's NEVER enough. Miserable old sods.Bloody hell, we’re on the verge of signing one of the hottest young talents going and people are furious about it?

Again FWIW the reporting is that he signed and chose us over other clubs including Liverpool after "very good talks with Hurzeler" according to Sky.Clever move loaning him back to them.
Hopefully FH will be gone by then so can’t damage him as per Evan Ferguson.
Sometimes - I guess they're a team. But often he reports or confirms interest in targets via tweets or contributions to their website . Of course The Athletic compete with Sky, FAB (the other one) , and dozens of outlets globally for PL transfer news - its competitive stuff.Fair enough - generally true that news about our targets comes from Ornstein rather than Naylor though.
A bit like Barco?Bloody hell, we’re on the verge of signing one of the hottest young talents going and people are furious about it?

OK but they can’t all work out can they?A bit like Barco?
My worry is that we're buying like there's no tomorrow, but are these young players actually improving? All these new players look slow, short and weak.OK but they can’t all work out can they?
Someone has turned Baleba into an incredible player this season, thats for certain. My worry is that we're buying like there's no tomorrow, but are these young players actually improving? All these new players look slow, short and weak.
You might think so, others might disagree. In any case, I sincerely doubt Tony is buying players left and right without having thought every deal through. My worry is that we're buying like there's no tomorrow, but are these young players actually improving? It almost seems like a miracle that he has.... but maybe he's just so good that he'll improve despite the "coaching"?Someone has turned Baleba into an incredible player this season, thats for certain.
Or Pedro or Welbeck ?He's Ferguson's replacement.
Which is ridiculous. So every good player is luck, every bad one is FHs fault. Every win has been luck, every defeat is FHs fault. This is all getting very silly. It almost seems like a miracle that he has.... but maybe he's just so good that he'll improve despite the "coaching"?
I'm sure this has been done to death on the other thread but every little thing I've read about that situation suggests there is way more to it than Barco not being up to the grade and that it comes down to something very negative about his character/ personality. It's clearly not just us who thought that either, as Sevilla haven't wanted to touch him with a bargepole.A bit like Barco?
Funny one this, isn't it? He's playing in the German equivalent of the Championship, and yet seemingly had Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs and Villa after him, according to some pretty reputable sources. That's like Europe's top clubs (and Spurs/ Chelsea) going after some lad at Sunderland.
His underlying stats must suggest he's pretty special then.
