Well we usually go out with a sending off. Personally I think tomorrow will be a close game. Could go either way. (I certainly haven't been carried away).

Spain play ultra-possession football, as if the score was secondary to the % counter at the end of the game. Passing it 400 times from your midfielder to your other midfielder and then back out to your midfielder doesn't make you good, it makes you boring as f***. There is so much talent in that squad that if they played like Cruyff's Ajax they'd be winning 8-0. Tika-taka is a corruption of what made total football amazing, it's not movement to further the play towards the goal, it's triangles for triangles sake.

What sucks more is that NO ONE has figured out a way to totally nullify how they play. Even Mourinho at best could just nullify it to the point where he could hope something jammy would happen or for one single moment and a lucky break, until we another team national or club embarrass Spain/Barcelona people are going to hate them.

It might be effective but its f***ing boring and sport is meant to be entertainment.

Ideally I'd love to see Germany win against spain with only 30% possession but they win something like 3-0 because they absolutely are the best counter-attacking team on the planet.

That was a dull, mainly because of the French. Did they want to go home? They were crying out for an Andy Carroll type near the end. Luckily we have him as a plan B.

Yep. It was so boring. France were just not talented enough to break the Spanish system. It would not take much: Gerrard could tear them to pieces.
