Nasty fatality I believe on a Gatex this evening due to a passenger popping their head out of the window at the wrong moment apparently. Only the driver on board to deal with the situation-feel for him and the passengers who witnessed it.
Can't remember the last time I noticed a window that could be opened far enough to do anything daft?Nasty fatality I believe on a Gatex this evening due to a passenger popping their head out of the window at the wrong moment apparently. :-(I assume it was on one of the last remaining 442s -report says he did it at 1745 and pronounced dead at 1803 sadly.
Can't see anyway of getting there from Newhaven/Seaford, well getting back anyway. Think it's the pub for me
Shuttle from Madeira Drive run by the club and the 12 bus to Newhaven/Seaford, or the Racecourse P&R, for the Forest game.
Nothing provided for the Colchester game, but I'm going in by bus and then getting a lift home.
May be the odd scab express.

How were the London-bound trains this morning ? Anyone know ?
Got to Brighton station about 6:45 this morning, it was pretty quiet. Caught 6:57 ThamesLink to East Croydon, seats available until Haywards Heath. Very few connecting services from ECR to CLJ but managed to squeeze on. Saw one Btn to Vic train go through whicj looked OK.
I think if you travel by the few trains that are running you are fine, as long as you don't need to change.
