Nasty fatality I believe on a Gatex this evening due to a passenger popping their head out of the window at the wrong moment apparently. Only the driver on board to deal with the situation-feel for him and the passengers who witnessed it.

Can't remember the last time I noticed a window that could be opened far enough to do anything daft?

As already mentioned on this thread, what times are the trains meant to be running this week? It says a limited service, but I can't find anywhere where it is stipulated which of the timetabled trains are going to be running.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated!

I've got my first business trip to London in a while on Tuesday. I go every now and again and even planning to arrive for an 11.00 a.m. meeting in docklands has been an ordeal.

I honestly don't know how commuters put up with this every single day, it is beyond belief.

Can't see anyway of getting there from Newhaven/Seaford, well getting back anyway. Think it's the pub for me :(

Shuttle from Madeira Drive run by the club and the 12 bus to Newhaven/Seaford, or the Racecourse P&R, for the Forest game.

Nothing provided for the Colchester game, but I'm going in by bus and then getting a lift home.

Decided to buy a Uni parking space. Anyone needing a lift from Seaford or Newhaven feel free to drop me a PM

How were the London-bound trains this morning ? Anyone know ?

Got to Brighton station about 6:45 this morning, it was pretty quiet. Caught 6:57 ThamesLink to East Croydon, seats available until Haywards Heath. Very few connecting services from ECR to CLJ but managed to squeeze on. Saw one Btn to Vic train go through whicj looked OK.

I think if you travel by the few trains that are running you are fine, as long as you don't need to change.

...or indeed, don't need to sit down?!

Thanks.......swathes of people working at home I reckon 9and always quieter during the school hols anyway).......evenings are always worse as the travel times are a bit more concentrated as well. Good luck (hope you've got your trainers with you)

Staying in London tonight and will come back Tuesday. They were making announcements on the train this morning suggesting very limited service and you need to be on a train by 6pm
