The thought of Albion being cheered on tomorrow by all those desperate stains makes me feel SICK,

Now now. Be nice. Southampton are still certain to go up this season. They may not win the title, but if any team knows what it takes to finish second, it's AC Milambert.

Nigel will still be smiling. I think he does that self-satisfied grin when he's asleep.

So glad the best team in the championship are not Southampton any more.

No chance. West Ham needed a home win to have any chance. Southampton's GD is worth a crucial extra half a point.

Fear not Sim - they'll spin it as a Lose-Lose game for us again. Then what would any of us really expect from them, eh? The fact is they're SOUTHAMPTON: & they don't care about us.

Funny to see the "are you keeping up" sweaty Adkins gutted after the Le Fondre third goal.

And Mike Dean didn't fall for Billy Sharp's repeated dives when breathed upon or brushed against. Well done ref!

Was he grinning in a disappointed stylee?

To be fair (I feel dirty defending them), a decent chunk of those 35 years were in the top division, where even their fans weren't deluded enough to believe they could win the title. We spent much of that time in rather more winnable leagues. I think league position is probably more relevant in the long term than trophies.

And how do you think Rochdale must feel these days? Almost relegated back to the fourth division, in the last six or seven years they've sold Adam Le Fondre, Glenn Murray, Rickie Lambert and Grant Holt

I remember there was a feature after ex-Bristol Rovers strikers (sold for relative pittance) bagged 100 goals between them in one season. From memory, Zamora, Roberts, Hayles and Cureton.

Don't think West Ham can catch either of them now anyway. But a point a piece will suit both parties.Don't think either will be pushing to hard for a winner if it's level with 10 mins to go....Wouldn't be the first time Southampton have played out a draw would it???

wrong

Southampton have had two chances in the last two seasons to take home a trophy, and it's looking like they have fluffed both of them  funny stuff

Hey now, steady on! May I remind you that their cabinet did contain the mighty Johnstone's Paint Trophy for a season recently.
