Watching this really has me wondering why we paid two and a half times what Saints payed for Lambert buying CMS?!

Because Saints and Bristol Rovers were both Third Division teams at the time.

Not rocket science.

Doesn't have a lot of pace, tends to look pedestrian when he starts. Whereas when he comes on as sub, he has a knack of scoring. Maybe he finds it easier against tired defenders.

If we had a decent striker we would be contending for automatic promotion,the extra 10 to 15 goals would have made all the difference

Harsh but fair I suppose. What about CMS for 2.5mil and Billy Sharpe for 1.6mil? Both championship clubs there.

I like CMS dont get me wrong but think we may have been mugged and considering we're not exactly a cash splashing club think the whole buying a quality starker may indeed be "rocket science".
