Stranger things have happened. Oddly, this rumour about Adkins being fired keeps cropping up. One of the papers today suggested the Southampton board were having to deny an interest in Harry Redknapp. Would seem highly unlikely to be, especially given his past history with them and Pompey, but equally strange is the fact they apparently felt it warranted a denial to the media.
