Target must be to get SA out before they pass 300.

We need a little luck and hope that the Saffers engine room don't all fire or we may have a tricky half day to bat with an unobtainable target. I'd like to see Smith,Amla, Kallis and Prince go cheap then we have a fair sniff !

I don't think South Africa have time to do that. By the time they are level it will probably be about halfway through tomorrow (maybe later if they go off early today).

true, but in a worse case scenario the Saffers can club scores very fast and we are notorious for folding when under pressure. Our batting can become a prosession very quickly sometimes.

Graeme Swann is fast becoming the best spin bowler in the world, if he isn't already.

I do see your point but the only way that could happen is South Africa scoring 400 all out very quickly and then bowling us out very cheaply. I don't see them scoring quickly enough to be honest although I agree our batting line up is capable of collapsing.

Will Kallis come in with Smith? Or will they try to keep him in reserve? I would expect him to come in as there is still a long time to go today if so it would be great if we could take either ones wicket before the close.
