If it is true, he shouldn't have a problem finding a contract elsewhere.

If true I back Slade's decision, despite being a little dissapointed to see Tommy go. In a way the signs are good... Slade being ruthless shows he clearly has big ideas.

I'm sure Fraser will find another League 1 or League 2 club comfertably.

Poor decision Russ

Will whoever he is replaced by have the same passion?

Fraser is 21, he hasn't been given a chance.

Certainly interesting if true. Fraser was a regular in the side that performed the great escape, if players like that aren't safe then who is

I wouldn't get rid of Fraser, i don't get all this doesn't look like a Top 6 player, none of the squad did

I thought Tommy was one of the most improved this season and was starting to look a lot more comfortable, so sorry to see him go if it's true.

It suggests that there's going to be carnage, though, as I'd have pushed most of the other out of contract players before Fraser.

I am gonna trust Russ with these decisions. The bottom line is that we don't know what Sladey is planning. I agree that it shows REAL intent no room for being sentimental I like TF but if we really are going for top 6 he would not get into that team. Clearing the decks...........looks serious dont it!

If this club is going to go forwards then tough decisions are going to be made and for many this one would be hard to take due to Fraser's passion. I tihnk he's a decent enough footballer but I also have faith that Slade has a plan and he's not going to mess around whilst implementing it.

Totally disagree. Firstly, nothing has been confirmed yet so it is not a decision as we speak but just rumour.

If true though I think it is a good sign. Hopefully it means Slade is being given the money to bring in his own players meaning someone like Fraser would not get near the first team. Dicker seemed to have quite a lot of passion for playing for us judging by his interview after the Swindon game.

Fraser was one of those that I could understand them keeping or releasing.

It would be good to get rid of all the local lads and old timers with expereince, Fraser, El Abd, Harty, Kuipers and Cox. Then bring in a load of loan signings with better quality and that way we will win the league.

Oh no, we tried that last season and its does not work. I would much rather watch home grown talent than Robbie Savage any day.

Fraser and El Abd get my vote both fight for the cause, give them contracts and help them develop.

I have nothing against Tommy Fraser but he was definitely (in my mind) the weak link in that team towards the end of the season despite playing his best football for the club.

We do have top 6 players e.g. Forster, Murray, Virgo (when played in position), Elphick, McNulty, Whing, Dicker (if he stays) and Cox (if playing like he did at the end of the season) for example. That is the core of a team that could challenge for top six with Kuipers or Sullivan in goal and a couple of additions.

Fraser wont win us promotion. He plays when he needs to. Don't get me wrong, he did NOTHING BAD.....but did he really COMMAND the midfield? He is not an attacking force. He is not a DICKER(snigger), and he is certainly not a winger. So maybe Slade has the chance to not use some wages on a player he dosen't feel will get us that promotion spot.

Would Fraser get into the leicester, posh, leeds, millwall, scunthorpe, MK Dons midfiede? Im hoping thats the logic.
