The reason we stayed up wasn't 'passion'. Motivation was a part of it but the main reason we were winning games was because Slade came up with a tactical approach based on the attributes of the players he had. Fraser and Loft were used in roles that required their energy and commitment but not necessarily needing them to provide great quality. I think it's a bit of a shame Fraser has been released, as he is still young and imo would still make a decent squad player in a better team (as he did under Wilkins), but it's not that big of a deal really.
