so.why do you buy a season ticket?

What I don't understand is that they managed to get the Wolves and QPR tickets organised and sent out way before Christmas - I suspect that the total was around 5-6,000 for both games - but took an age over processing the same amount for the Spurs game.

I had my tickets for Wolves and QPR a good 10 days before MPs fateful Christmas present.

According to Mp yesterday we were sold out by the first post on the 10th.

Which means
Ticket details announced on the 8th
Post application (first class) morning of the 9th from Hassocks (BN6) - bit of admin about sorting application for other people (also STH)
Ticket application arrives (presumably) on the 11th - sold out.
Letter from MP arrives on my doormat on the after noon of 24 December

To be fair to MP, the club did contact people who had applied and offered them to opt in or opt out of the second batch of tickets that cost £37.

Extra time was therefore needed to wait for these responses before sending out the rejection letters.

I applied for a Wolves ticket and still have had no reply if it's any consolation

Can't say any from the one's I went too* but at least four have been pay on the gate as well, I know a few people on that would rather pay on the day than in advance because they can't afford too. Why should they suffer?

*Please note that I wasn't in the Country for the 2nd half of August so can't comment on Wigan or Leicester.

But if the system was in place people would buy in advance.

Me my mum and dad are season ticket holders because we are Brighton through and through and always will be.

So why the Arsenal shirt in another thread the Kev?

I am a supporter of Brighton and yes I do have a seaspon ticket and travel as often as is economically viable. I have a season ticket as I support the club but would not hold a grudge against anyone who prefers to go to away games only.

I would like to get one point across though. All this bickering about spurs tickets, away supporters V's Home supporters etc is absolutely pathetic.
We are all Supporters of the club and thus should all be as one.
