Same as Danny Seagull. Same to admit it but "True" by Spandau Ballet was my first slow dance in the dinner hall at Dover Grammar School for boys fist disco.

Before you all start. It was with a girl (can't remember her name) from the girls school.

Jaysus that Madonna track is popular for something so cack. Got it playing here now (I have 16GB of music, so I've got virtually anything...) and its *SHITE*

Three Times a Lady was one, but there were some others. Those balmy night down 'Sloopy's' it never got as far as the last dance before I got dragged kicking and screaming to some dark secluded place by a Scandinavian nubile. Oh the turgid needs of young womanhood...... so demanding !

You had to be dragged kicking and screaming... by a scandinavian girl?

with the sole exception of the freaky eyed icelandics, I think I'd submit pretty quickly to any approaches by a scandy girl... nice blond finns/swedes, etc

Come on Easy 10, why is True by Spandau Ballet so special to you? And do we really want to know, or are you going to have to put a special warning label on first?
Whoops, forgot about this thread.

"True" by Spandau Ballet is a very special song because it was at Number 1 when the Albion were in the Cup Final. I can't hear that song without seeing Gary slam in that equaliser.

"Ahh ah-ha ahhhhh ah-haaaaa"
"I know this much is true"

*sniff*

That's why they call it the Blues by Elton John was about that time as well. I remember Steve Wright playing it for "all Brighton fans" a couple of days after the replay
