Anyone going up to Millwall? The bogs at the new Den must have more smokers than pissers.
I smoke. A lot. But I don't have a problem with not doing it for four hours on a train, for example. Although why the club can't make some provision for those that want to go and have a fag without interfering with everyone else is beyond me. As has been stated, it's not that hard to do a hand stamp or other similar ID method, and if the smokers want to miss the first few minutes of the second half then that's their choice.

At Leeds a couple of seasons ago I asked one of the stewards if one could have a smoke at half-time
He advised me the best place to have one was in the bogs, I thought what a helpful chap

After a few home games now almost everytime i go to the gents someone is smoking in the cubicle. Has anybody else noticed this? Can people not wait 2 hours for a fag?
There was a queue of 8 people to use the bog just because of a gimp having a fag in there.
Yes i am a smoker.

Not a Ryanair one, but I picked one up at a market for £10 the other week, and its helped me so far. Not the same but it does take the edge off.
I still however think that the club could if it so chose, allow fans out at half time, I have seen it done in loads of away grounds, its easy to steward and saves any problems. Whether you like it or not there is still a substantial number of people in this country who choose to smoke, or can't give up. It's all very well saying "If you can't go without a fag for 2 hours etc etc", simple fact is a smoker is a nicotine addict, and it aint easy to go without.

be funny to see this from the WSU, them all wheezing their way back up the stairs!!! i say this as a smoker myself... these guys should just get nicotine patches for the games, or the electric cigarette substitute. would do a job and you never know, might kick on into a positive lifestyle choice change and all that

No point of nicking a cubicle for it.
Just stand behind the wall bit, the amount of blokes nicking a drag or 2 off me is quite funny.
