Look, he did the job he was hired to do last season and kept us up.

Then over the summer he assembled a squad that by consensus was one of our strongest in recent seasons.

Now our away form is acceptable for a relatively new side but we need to improve at home. The Great Escape showed what effect just one win had on confidence. Today showed that the fans are behind Slade, the players appear to be trying and we were unlucky not to get a least a point.

There's certainly cause for concern with Slade - the keeper situation, the number of reds, why he kept Hawkins and Livermore for instance - but generally I don't see he's doing too much wrong. The situation now is light years from a year ago under Adams, so he STAYS.

Totally agree. Can't believe the question has even been asked. The rotating door that our manager position has turned into is a major reason why we struggle. Slade has assembled a good squad, that IS now putting in performances. Just give it a chance ffs. The results will come.

Slade is not the problem, he has put together a stronger squad than last year and as soon as the players start to realise that 11 men are supposed to stay on the pitch for the full 90 minutes he will turn it round. Once the players step onto the pitch it is down to their discipline and getting sent off is not (hopefully) practiced on the training field.

Obviously in! I think the team are playing for Russell and are improving game by game. They are showing commitment and I think they will soon start to climb the table. Let's face it if we had played midweek we would not be in the relegation zone. Good to see Murray back - he looked up for it!

No more red cards please!!

Maybe it should start being discussed at training because clearly the players seem incapable of realising that it is very difficult to win with ten men (unless playing us of course).

........add to that list Slades determination NOT to play Dicker in the first few games, and I agree, there,s cause for concern.
