IN, you f***ing prick

Thats over the top. but i agree with the IN part. we are playing well, and in the 110 minutes in the last two games that we have been down to 10 men (45+65) we have only conceded 2, and scored 1. and looked the better side at times today. not bad going, if we can keep 11 men on the field we will be ok this year.

Changing the manager would be pointless with the present squad,we are unlikely to be able to make further signings, our only option now is to avoid relegation.

I thought we'd be spared stupid threads like this while Vulture was on holiday.

Im no expert in back room football.

If my boss had an underperforming team and had experimented with a number of half decent managers with no result then you would have to look at the infrastructure or the support being provided imo?

The coaching and training clearly is an issue.....Dickinson came here and we were told he can get goals....that leads me to think something was seen to make people believe that....this is yet to happen? Why?

Its the coaching and training that needs sorting and not the manager!

Look, he did the job he was hired to do last season and kept us up.

Then over the summer he assembled a squad that by consensus was one of our strongest in recent seasons.

Now our away form is acceptable for a relatively new side but we need to improve at home. The Great Escape showed what effect just one win had on confidence. Today showed that the fans are behind Slade, the players appear to be trying and we were unlucky not to get a least a point.

There's certainly cause for concern with Slade - the keeper situation, the number of reds, why he kept Hawkins and Livermore for instance - but generally I don't see he's doing too much wrong. The situation now is light years from a year ago under Adams, so he STAYS.

I voted in, because up to the sending off I thought we were playing really well.
When you look at who has been sent off this season none of them are the sharpest tools in the box are they?
When we have a full squad, the likes of El Abd will even struggle to make the bench.
But I saw enough in the first twenty minutes to convince me we will be OK this season.

spot on.... far too many people panicking :drama:

I'm not one of the people calling for Slade to go, neither am I convinced he can move us forward. I don't know what to think to be honest. As for it being light years from a year ago under Adams-is it? Adams looked like he was in panic mode for a lot of his second spell at the club whereas Slade seems to say the right things post-match in a very calm way. Sadly, we are no closer to the upper part of the division than a year ago despite a massive influx of players.

I hope it changes soon 'cos I'm getting fed up hearing 'We were unlucky again today'.

We survived relegation by 1 game last season. What do people expect from him?

To be fair to him, he did one hell of a job rescuing us last season-I think people anticipated not being in a relegation spot so early in the season.

He has passed my expectation that he would be sacked before my birthday, which is Monday, so I say in for the moment but an improvement is needed or come the end of October / November the feeling may not be the same.
