[Travel] Skiing 2025

I learnt to ski in Zakopane Poland about 20+ years ago. Then used to go to Val Gardina in Italy. Sadly now we are in Florida so I am reduced to water ski slopes

Skied the incredible Lagazuoi ‘Hidden Valley‘ in the Italian Dolomites this morning. It finishes with skiers being pulled along by horses over a long flat to the nearest village.

My lasting memory of the Sella Ronda is Mrs Wz cartwheeling down a Val Gardena black in an almighty wipeout 31 years ago. I can date it exactly as she was 3 months pregnant with our eldest at the time, and we hadn't told anybody
