This woman is the editor of The Conservative Women.

Her empathy for a trafficked 9 year old boy, oozes out of every pore.
She has form though, but a very good marker on what has become of the Conservative party over the last few years.

Anyone who continues to vote for them in their current incarnation needs to wise up, get involved and challenge the current status quo for the good of democracy.

Not so much the sprit of Thatcherism but Norman Tebbit with a flame thrower and a bottle of acid.

Lord Archer is in charge of the till.

Yes. That tweet is nasty. Ignorant and, indeed, vile.

At the very least I'm suspicious of this story not least the previous newspaper articles about his plane journey over with his mum to the UK. Quite frankly, I'm suspicious of a lot of what he says and his amazing transformation from also ran to world beater.

Yes. And I'd like to know how Harry Kane transformed himself from journeyman 'striker', modest loan spells at Orient, Millwall, Norwich and Leicester, to the goal scoring legend and England captain that he now seems to be. Very fishy ???

Mo won titles and broke records from 2001 (age 18) to 2020. Something doesn’t smell right.

Mo Farah - what a guy.

I hope this story makes a few people reflect on their views about deporting migrants, the Rwanda policy and so on. They've cheered on a man who they'd have happily deported in the past, a bloke who loves the country that adopted him and has given so much back to the UK in return.

All of these migrants are PEOPLE. Like Mo, the vast majority are desperate to escape injustice and make something of themselves in this country, all at a time when we are desperately short of labour.

If Harry Kane had gone to Mombasa Tigers on loan at the age of 26 - assuming Kenya avoided drug testing footballers - and he came back to the UK with the ability to run faster and for longer I might have raised an eyebrow. I'm not sure he picked up those abilities at Orient as an 18 year old. Likewise, I don't remember Kane being associated with a coach who pedalled EPO and then lying about his association with such a coach or despite Barry Hearn dodgy dealings he's never been investigated by the FBI unlike another one of Mo's.

I'll watch the documentary but I'll have my bullshit detector well and truly switched on. Today there are people saying they remember him from primary school and yet he is saying he didn't go to school until he was 12.

Vile is the word I usually use to describe them.

Just as the Labour party has been infested with 1970s throw backs and tik tok generation revolutionaries with a "challenging" interpretation of Jewishness, the Conservative party had absorbed the far right to an extent that Tommy Robinson quite likes them.

Unfortunately a number of Conservative party members (and their voters) have their head in the sand regarding how much their party has changed.

If you are genuinely a Conservative party voter on here you need to accept that this isn't the party you have traditionally voted for, it's changed, it's different, it's something new.

For the sake of democracy it needs at least two terms of out of power to fix itself.

Not seen any follow up or explanation. Can't tell if Matt Lawton is suggesting this might not be true, or just cynical about the timing due to the involvement of the PR firm.

Obviously I don't know the whole story, like most. But what I do know know is that social media has opened its bowels as usual on this one. A common trait running through many who are dumping their wisdom..

I hope Pritti Patel doesn’t try to deport him, as she has the legislation to remove his citizenship.

So knowingly he broke the law when applying for British Citizenship in 2000. He wasn’t a 9yr old. So under a different identity allegedly defrauded the nation of funds, allegedly defrauded the companies of sponsorship, allegedly defrauded the Queen, but it’s ok because he won gold medals and is an elite athlete. He has been a tax exile for years. Are there no laws anymore? I wonder how long average Joe Public would get away with such activities.

If he has stepped outside of immigration laws then his case should be treated like no other. I seem to remember a well known activist on the right side of politics being deported from the US for using a different name to enter the states and being deported from Mexico years later. Is this any different?

Yes, because he was a criminal who had been to prison for assaulting a police officer and knew he wouldn’t be able to get in the US under his real name.

Mo was a 9 year old victim of trafficking who was threatened and starved by the ‘auntie’ who brought him in.
