You had to go back a few decades to cobble together a team that would struggle to avoid relegation. Hardly helps the case.

We loan out players to weaker leagues, whether in this country or abroad. It's totally normal.

At some point we'll need to bring him in and get him in the squad to see if he can make it.

Probably, but not on the pitch. For Santos, since joining in September, no starts, three substitute appearances, 2 yellow cards and 0 goals. He missed 9 games due to injury.

There aren't actually all that many players who have made the move from SPL to EPL.

Still, the point about having to go back a few decades is a fair one, you spoil it by saying they would struggle to avoid relegation as every single one of those players was playing top half football during their time in the prem, maybe with exception of Fletcher, can't recall how his Sunderland side did.

Just occurred to me that in the unlikely event of Rangers and Brighton both reaching the final of Europa he will be eligible to play against us. The final being in Dublin and young Evan obviously playing for us could be quite tasty!

His view is that he is if he came back to us, he would be best used as a winger cutting inside. He doesn't think Sima would suit the way we play in the strikers role as his movement, hold up and approach play are not good enough at the moment.

Undav was scoring goals for fun at the end of last season. I would say he is the most lethal finisher excluding penalties we have

Watching Sima for Rangers today, either he is injured or he's not very good? He's just jogging around doing nothin, looks like Emile Heskey on antidepressants.

The Rangers fan I know would agree. Said all along that his touch was nowhere near PL standard. They didn’t rate him at all early on and have been pretty surprised at his success.
