Should we boo Zamora at West Ham

BZ was put through by Chippy enough times and those nod ons from corners by Danny led to BZ buddling it in at the back. Both those players have seen us through thick and thin and are still giving 100%. DC could've flown the nest on more than one occassion but is still here giving100%. I think that deserves the legend status rather than someone who went when the going got tough.

Agree that Richard Carpenter and Danny Cullip have been fantastic servants and performers for the Albion (and hopefully will continue to be) but realistically would there be a load of clubs from a higher level bidding for their services?? I don't think so. Both players have done a terrific job at the level we have been at but a club aiming for the upper reaches of 'the Championship' would not be interested in these players. Danny Cullip was on the transfer list and no-one came in for him.

Whatever profession you are in you should aim to better yourself and thats what Zamora was doing, while making a huge contribution to the progress of this club at the same time.

It's a tricky one. There's no doubt he should get a hero's welcome from the Albion faithful.

HOWEVER, once the game gets under way I don't have a problem with him beeing booed. It's nothing personal, but one the first whistle blows he's an opponant, possibly with a point to prove, so we should do our best to put him off. Knowing Zamora to be the confidence player that he is, with any luck it'll put him off and improve our chances of getting something from the game.

Sadly, shan't be there. However, I reckon large cheer in order when he first arrives on the park. Don't boo him. I'd like to see him back on a loan, and nothing should prejudice that possibility.

Lush, you're the one with the Special Relationship - What's your call?

Your level is under a stone, so I suggest you crawl back there. You have never said anything positive about the Albion or the players in all the time you have posted on NSC.

I noticed that too, I just reckon he's another 'messageboard gremlin' out to fullfill his day by stirring people up so he can go home and wank over it whilst watching Star Trek......but alas I have seen this behaviour before so can tell them a mile off :D

Sorry to disappoint you but have never seen an episode of Star Trek or a Star Wars film, i'm not into sci fi or FICTION like you.

So sorry you'll have to get a bit nearer than a mile to identify me.

Just because i have an opinion and did not see BZ as the panecea you dream of i must be some low life. I'd rather be under a stone and independent than a sheep. I never felt out of place not shouting his surname over and over again and am glad that i didn't compromise my thoughts on him by doing so. I bet you were one of these telling those with no knowledge of the Albion how he was gonna make big in the premiership etc and what a bargain Spurs had bought. .:lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

And you had a go at me for being a miserable git!?

Saint Lennard, there was me defending you on another thread only to then read on here that you never supported Zamora when he was banging them in for us. Have you no heart man!

Even West Ham don't boo their substitutes sitting on the bench.

I agree BZ has his level, but based on resources so do the Albion, and that level, based on income, level of attendance etc is about 20 places below where we currently operate.

Bobby did not cut it in the Prem because he was not prepared to bust a gut to do so, we saw from his performances in the latter stages that his first love in life was not football.

Having said that he made a huge contribution to our back to back Championships, something that the club will never achieve again, so we should be thankful for his goals and sometimes sublime skills (those who were at Bury will know what I mean)
