I see the polls are showing 80% in favour of keeping Harty and Hawsey.............
So.......in line with every load of bollocks in this country..........the minority will have their way.

You'd make an ace Argus reporter. 80% but of a heavily biased population.

We're talking about the MEDIA - and the rules are pretty consistent.
It only takes a minority to complain about an 'offensive' advert for it to get pulled, for example.
The majority of viewers wouldn't care if the word 'c.unt' was banded about in, say, the Sunday Night Project, but that wouldn't make it right to use.
Surely, if the majority VOTE on an issue.............then the majority view should be adhered to.
Given your example in your last paragraph, merely emphasises that you believe the minority should rule.
On this basis, should the BNP be the government of the day...?
I'm talking about standards in the media (which is the issue here), not law/government.
