Oh don't be pedantic...he's registered to a League One team.

Perhaps Shorey is asking for unrealistic wages?

But Shorey wasn't even registered to League 2 side so he must have been rubbish

and been loaned out to a championship team as he is too good/expensive for League one.

Shorey has been at more trials than Lewis Dunk's lawyers and still no takers. So yes either unrealistic wages or more likely he is just passed his best.

I personally, am pleased we've got Ward.

I spoke to a Reading supporting colleague at work about Shorey and he said that he is the shadow of his former self and much of that is to do with the enjoyment of evening based non-football activities.

My extended family are Reading fans, heard similar.

But anyway, Ward is superior to Shorey, without a doubt. Think the fact he got turned down by us, then by the team doomed to relegation, and is now with a L1 side says a lot.

ORRR Bristol City are willing to pay wages we aren't, hence we ended up with a League One full back?

Er . . . . ok

Which bit of that confuses you?

The idea that you think Shorey is better than Ward because you think we couldn't afford Shorey's wages. Not sure what planet you're on. Who's to say Ward isn't on higher wages? The only fact we know is Shorey was on trial, and we didn't sign him.
