So you're not anti gay, you just think its a 'preference' rather than genetic. Makes you a moron if absolutely nothing else.

You're making shit up again.

I've never been a **** to you on this site over the sexuality you were born with. You've got the wrong guy.

Feel free to prove me wrong though and provide the posts where iv'e said beng gay isn't anything but genetic.

Is fear of Islam so irrational? Sounds like a reasonable stance to me. Unless you can think of any reasonable Islamic countries. I mean, do you ever hear about gays going to an Islamic country to seek asylum?

To seek asylum, probably not.

However, homosexuality is legal in the following countries where Islam is the major religion...

Albania
Azerbaijan
Bahrain
Bosnia & Herzegovina
Burkina Faso
Chad
Djibouti
Guinea-Bissau
Indonesia (under certain circumstances)
Iraq
Jordan
Kazakhstan
Kyrgystan
Kuwait (women only)
Lebanon
Malaysia (women only)
Mali
Niger
Sierra Leone (women only)
Tajikistan
Turkey
Turkmenistan (women only)
Uzbekistan (women only)

It's not as though Islam has exclusive rights on banning homosexuality. Many (Christian) parts of the Caribbean, South Pacific and Africa also outlaw homosexuality.

My guns main purpose is to clear feral animals off which have a devastating effect on the native flora and fauna.

Your views on the putpose of owning guns is completely warped.

If I could own a semi-auto rifle I would as it would make hunting feral cats much easier.

Not warped. Crystal clear, actually.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_rights_in_Iraq

Same-sex sexual relationships have been decriminalized but are still considered taboo by the majority of the population in Iraq. Many LGBT people in the country suffer from discrimination, abuse, honor killings, and murder. Uniformed Iraqi police officers have carried out lethal attacks on homosexual people.[3] The government of the Netherlands declared in 2012 that no place in Iraq was safe for LGBT persons.

Just because its "legal" doesn't mean much.

Kuwait

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) persons in Kuwait may face challenges not experienced by non-LGBT Kuwaitis. Homosexuality is not specifically outlawed but gay people are prosecuted under the "debauchery" law.

Where have I been homophobic?

You sure your myopic mind isn't making shit up? I think it is.

You're really not in a position to lecture anyone about myopia.

So using your theory Atheists who are against religious ideologies are bigots. Because they are religiously motivated

Said the person grizzling about 'making shit up'.

Did mention atheists? You brought them into the conversation, not me. You whine about them if you wish. Je m'en fous.

Based on what?

What personal experiences can you offer. I just offered my experiences with them.

You get a buzz out of a lethal weapon. You're really in no place to talk about being warped.

I've handled guns before, and hated it. My view on guns is crystal clear, based on knowing they are lethal weapons, with no purpose other than killing, irrespective of your deluded notions of safety, eroticism and protection.

As I said, myopic.

You use yours for killing though, animals. A gun's purpose is to kill. What else is a gun for, clay pigeon shooting?

I use my shotgun to shoot clay targets, I use my air pistol to shoot paper targets.

Amazing the amount of purposes they have aye.

And yes feral animals. Like feral cats. They kill over 75 million native animals a year. They need to be culled.

Anyway, back on topic, having been skewed by those trying to make their own social, religious and political capital out of this (probably most of us).

A very emotional vigil was held at New Steine in Brighton last night in solidarity with those murdered in Orlando. Around 400 people turned up for a moment's thoughts and reflection on this awful incident.

RIP.

How many animals do humans kill a year? Do they need to be culled too?

Back on topic, whilst the american gun law is clearly ridiculous, it is not to blame for this tragedy in Orlando.

I wonder if, had the scum who did this been a white Christian, you'd have posted that the situation needed "one less Christian"? I'm going to guess not..

Lets not forget a high percentage of American 'spree killers' are exactly that.

Note I did remove the word fundamentalist.

I don't know if this, from Friday, has made it onto the thread:-

Former Voice star Christina Grimmie shot dead outside Florida concert

http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...stina-grimmie-shot-outside-concert-in-florida

From another more recent article:-

Her killer, Kevin James Loibl, is from St Petersburg, Florida and travelled across the state to target Grimmie, according to Orlando Police. Loibl had been carrying two guns, two loaded magazines and a hunting knife on himself during the shooting.

NBC are reporting that the gunman's wife knew in advance of his murderous plans and even drove him on a scouting mission.
