What about grenades then? That way when gays are attacked, but don't know where from exactly, they can throw a grenade in the general direction and hope it takes out the shooter. Admittedly there may be some collateral damage but at least they will be defending themselves.

I'm neutral on America's gun laws, but all these spree shootings happen in "gun free zones". They never occur in places where people could have a Gloch 22 tucked into their belts.

Perhaps if the spree shooters knew that they'd be gunned down themselves before they had a chance to really let rip, then they might reconsider. My guns main purpose is to clear feral animals off which have a devastating effect on the native flora and fauna.
