How the **** did he get it over the bar? He must be a ****ing magician.

Because he plays for us. I truly believe that that is the only way he has managed to miss. Wearing a BHA shirt. It is absolutely astounding the chances we miss. Absolutely laughable.

I appreciate your view on this and have refrained from using it.
But Why is it only that one you object to, whilst ignoring "lickers".
It's equally childish and inflammatory/
Entirely agree. But for a long time the use of the word virtually disappeared as its former users grew up, whereas the b******** one never really went away. Now that l***** is creeping and crawling back, I'm all in favour of terminating its existence.
Both could do with a 'Complete and Utter Shyster' type auto-correction to something pretty embarrassing for the poster, IMHO.

This. But it appears Maupay doesn’t like a pass behind him, in front of him, too fast, too slow, etc etc

I have backed him as being unlucky or lacking in confidence for a while now but that miss and the one Ramsdale saved have made me think that he’s just not good enough. We need to move him on and take a risk on another striker next season. Neither him or Connolly, young though he is, are up to playing for a club with top ten aspirations. Shame as I like Neal

A £17m fee, 260 weeks at £60k and employers NI at 13.8%.

The cost of Jahanbakhsh is £35m.

The reward - 2 EPL goals and 1 EPL assist.

A costly transfer blunder in anyone’s book.

Two crosses against little old Sheffield United haven’t suddenly justified the £35m outlay.

Ouch.

Tony Bloom is obviously analytical.

With the heavy club losses even pre pandemic, he’s the one who ultimately is paying the huge financial cost of the Locadia and Jahanbakhsh blunders.

I’m sure that since then, he looks at how to minimise the cost and risk of these being repeated.

The good news is our game has only made 9th on BBC Sport homepage, Barber must have called in some favours

Was Ben Johnson, left-sided player for them any good?

I think we should play one quick winger.

Any long term Brighton fan would be pissed but shrug their shoulders as a result that though disappointing was no surprise. We are the go to team for out of form teams or players turning things around

Yep, me too. I fully expected to win that game easily but I am not even a little bit surprised we fecked it up, it’s the Brighton way

I expected a draw and hoped for a win.

I couldn't see them scoring against our recently impressive defence, but knew we would struggle against a well organised defence.

Gifting them a goal was typical of us.
They weren't going to score without it.
But equally we really didn't look like scoring either.

Poor result no doubt. Didnt see the game, going to do it tomorrow, but obviously its a bad result and a lot of work needs to be done on how to treat these games.

Are you serious? We had loads of chances including an open goal from inside the 6 yard box!

Having good chances and not looking like scoring aren't mutually exclusive.
If you felt we were unlucky, then fair play.

But for me, we just looked like an OG was more likely than us scoring. (same for them)
It's a recurring theme. and no amount of 0-0s against better teams is going to change that
