Warnock had a point, whether you like it or not. The falla that did it needs prison but kirkland made a meal of it.

You are right Warnock had a point, with the one moron, not sure Kirkland made a meal of it. If some one came from you on the blind side and i agree with some here that he was pushed not punched but with force when you are least expecting it, it would hurt! So to get things in to perspective here, a few fans jump on pitch = instant banning orders and fines, one moron hits Kirkland and he has previous= life time ban and jailed. Now the crowd chanting you will never be able to police it to individuals in large crowds and both sets of supporters were as bad as each other by all accounts. Managers say things in the heat of the moment when things happen. You also have to look at the stewarding issue could it have been prevented, probably.

Why is it that when 1 Leeds fan has a pop at a player then a tiny minority of fans on the internet try to slag off the entire, yes that is right the entire club at Leeds. Their "outrage" would be more understandable if Brighton were not in a very fragile glass house on the issue. Can someone post the footage of Brighton v Leyton Orient with Ray Wilkins ?

If this was Brighton it would be just one rogue idiot but because its Leeds we're all scum?

have you repeated this post on 90 other message boards by any chance? take a look, chances are if you go on the boards of Colchester/Rochdale/Arsenal/Torquay/Swindon/Sunderland/Carlisle United/Crawley Town etc etc etc etc Leeds 'fans' will be refered to by a lot on there as 'scum'.

Perhaps you are up early to work your way through the alphabet, What time do you expect to come out with the narritive "If this was Yeovil it would be just one rouge idiot but because it's Leeds we're all scum?"

Fact is tho mate, he is right. Brighton fans attacked a Leyton Orient player not so long ago and I remember other fans saying we should be chucked out of the league for that

You had a hell of a lot of scum out in Bournemouth in May 1990!

As did Brighton when they invaded the Bournmouth end on tv or last time Brighton went to Southend a couple of years ago an een more serious incident took place. The papers reported a Brighton fan stabbed a Southend fan. Of all clubs Brighton have to recognise that after the brighton v Orient game, we are in a very flimsy glass house

yeah "other fans" you said it your self. he's come on here implying this is the only football forum in the country, the shit is gonna hit the fan over this and when it comes to condemnation of Leeds fans as a whole, Brighton will hardly be at the front of the queue

Was at both. Light years away from what Leeds did in Bournemouth that year.

Being taken out of context here and no different to that Blues fan when the Villa keeper made a huge error.

The fan appears banned already from football but clearly that is not working so suspect a custodial sentence this time.

Yep true enough, and yep Leeds caused problems through the years, mainly because they have a big following. I think Man U caused more trouble but that is all forgotten now by most. Also Brighton have had its own problem and to name just 3 games, Brentford away, Hereford away, Chesterfield away tho but we are getting off topic.

One idiot plays up and does exactly what a Brighton fan did against Orient. As such we have to recognise that we are not in a position to point fingers.

So the other fans that were ripping out seats are normal decent folk acting in a perfectly reasonable manner?
Lets face it Leeds fans have previous form. Not too many years ago similar scenes of seats being ripped out by Leeds fans were reported in the news & where did this happen........oh yeah Bramhall Lane. Leeds fans tend to be arrogant narrow minded bigots, & before you ask how I know this I was born in Rotherham & lived 35 years in Yorkshire in close contact with some of your neanderthal fans before making the move south. So coming on here claiming that "Leeds fans are generally a good bunch" doesn't wash with me.

who on here has condoned the behaviour of fans at the above 4 matches? because we had a lunatic element at a few games 15 years ago that warrants us unable to make a negative comment on something that happened last night, does it?

that IS fuckin ripe, plenty of footage on you tube of SW fans at Rochdale a couple of years back ripping advertising board of the back of the stand and passing them over head to the front, when they reached the front of the crowd they were hitting their own fans on the back of the head and neck, children were hurt as well

Heading for shore
:drama:

Yes, that bloke is a prize tit and should be banged-up.

Yes, Leeds have a larger than average minority of prize tits among their fans.

But the public outrage and chest-beating on here every time something like this happens is frankly both embarrassing and hypocritical.

Fair enough, but for the record Chesterfield and Hereford away was a lot to do with self preservation!
