not at all, everyone thought bird flu was guna be massive but in the end it was alright (unless your bernard matthews!) so a few hundred will die around the world and then it will go away i reckon.

it was quite funny, i was playing this game when i first heard about it. Pandemic 2 - Free Strategy Game from AddictingGames aim of the game is too destroy the world with your own virus

I'd be more worried by

A, the giant magma plume under Yosemite Park.. about 1,000 sq M of crust is overdue to blow causing cataclysmic extinction.

Classic example of being worried about the wrong thing. Try Yellowstone!

This isn't just media hype. The World Health Organisation should be taken seriously. They have just raised the pandemic threat level from 4 to 5. There are only SIX levels, and the 6th means there is a full blown pandemic. Apparantly a pandemic is now 'imminent'

A few years ago bird flu was going to kill us all and how many died ?
Now it's swine fever flu which will bring about the end of civilisation as we know it
Ever since that bloody hurricane in 1987 reporting of the news and weather has gone waaaay over the top as the media are so scared of not mentioning that hey flu can kill that they have to overplay it by saying that there could be a pandemic and millions of people could die. Complete media overkill. It's a flu outbreak which we see most years anyway and with aviation it will spread a lot quicker than it would have done years ago but we have better healthcare these days and I really do not think there's anything for the normal person to worry about

Apparently if you are worried about it they say you should keep clean, wash hands and avoid to much contact with others.

I'm not worried at all about it.

Apparently the NHS have ordered 50 million face masks  and everyone is going to be sent a leaflet informing them about this.

I'm more concerned about the taps in the Pav Tav killing everyone in Brighton after last night, to be honest. Had two pints of Guinness and have subsequently felt like I've got an inflated balloon between my anus and intestines all day. Don't do it.

That will teach you for drinking:

A) in the Pav Tav

and B) having a pint in there!
