I was just about to say the same reminds me of one of the pitches up by Stanmer House, my Sunday League team home pitch for a few seasons.

I drive past that site regularly. Zero building started thus far.

That actually looks like my old primary school pitch at Cradle Hill, Seaford.

And in the very bottom right it looks like a bowls club which will be handy for any staff in their seventies who want something to do in the afternoon rather than heading to Kempton or Sandown Park with the lads.

I think I can help here: Palace are a small club.What took so long? Ours opened 6 years ago and it's about twice the size (and currently being expanded further).
