Seagulls map of Britain

Yep, I can remember riding the bus in Sheffield for 7p (adult fare) in the early 80s, and I think the fare to Donny was only about 20p.
The "meeting" was years ago, we were both running for different trains and as we crossed I said "are you from Barnsley" and you (or some complete stranger) replied "yes!". It may have been Sheffield, athough I'm not sure it has any subways.

i believe the fares were 2p and 8p

Oi I'm the county idiot of Berkshire

That you may well be, but that is not on the Heirarchy list. You must have a coat of arms and family tree to lay claim to a title on here.

I see the Dukedom of Hampshire is available. I would like to apply. Is this an hereditary system? If so my twelve year old is next in line. He has top credentials his initials are H.R.H.

I must warn you that Hiney is a cruel and vicious master, but so be it.

You are the DUKE OF HOVERSPEED

*edit* your Son is officially known as THE SPROUT OF ROMSEY

I thank you. He will be right chuffed. Your not stalking me are you, one of my old sailing jackets that I work in has the Hoverspeed logo on it.

Look out of the window...behind the skip...see the glow of the cigarette in the shadows and the glint of a snipers lens...
