That makes two of usI ticked 10 and now I'm thinking, the first page had my name and seat number on it
I think by now they will have a pretty good idea just by looking out of the police box window and countingThat's good, they'll get an idea of the numbers.
I think this is the answer. It's a shame those in the middle of the North Stand who don't properly contribute to the singing won't move although I totally understand why they wouldn't want to lose long held seats but safe standing in the South could just entice some of our louder fans over there to form a new singing area. By all means make the North safe standing but, apart from making it slightly safer, it won't make any difference.Leaving the expense aside (which is probably prohibitive) I thought turning the south into safe standing would be a good idea as part of creating a new group of people who want to create atmosphere. The advantage over the north would be that no existing season ticket holder would have their nose put out of joint if they lose their actual seat and everyone making the move to the south would know what is expected of them and the current divisions would be lost.
Is that sentence directly copied from the club email?! FFSThe safe standing system will be the same as what is installed at Brentford (see images below for details).

Jeez. Who writes this stuff? That's just embarrassing.
why the FFSIs that sentence directly copied from the club email?! FFS
Because it reads like it was written by a 6-year old, rather than a corporate communication from a multi-million pound business.why the FFS
Seems a missed opportunity from the club, they could have posted that question on here with the international break coming up? Unless of course they got wind of the usual data harvesters planning to ask “leg, do you have a favourite”?FWIW one of the questions in the survey is how often do you stand anyway.
No - but I expect they will be blue. As I posted earlier, a lot less space to stand in and space for movement of fans leaving the standWill the rails have the same padding as the seats?
Point 2 is daft. We're inviting season ticket holders in North stand lower, to share their views about the potential installation of safe standing in the North Stand at The Amex. This follows discussions internally and with the Fan Advisory Board.
Please complete this survey to have your voice heard, as this will directly inform potential changes to the North Stand for the 2025/26 season.
When completing this survey please consider that:
1. Safe standing would not increase the capacity of the stand and tickets in this area wouldn't be charged at a cheaper price.
2. Safe standing would involve a rail being installed in front of current rows of seats to prevent fans falling/crushing. The current seating wouldn't be moved and could still be used at half time etc.
3. Fans would be required to stand/sit in their allocated position throughout the match, however fans that choose to sit in a safe standing location wouldn't be able to see over their fellow fans if they stand.
Please only complete this survey if you are a season ticket holder whose seat is in North lower, as at the current time, this is the only area being considered for the introduction of Safe Standing.
The results of this survey will be used to help inform decision making on potential changes to the stadium for the 2025/26 season. Please note safe standing will also be introduced for visiting supporters in the coming seasons.
This survey closes on at 5pm on Thursday 14 November.
The safe standing system will be the same as what is installed at Brentford (see images below for details).
North Stand, same as everywhere else in the stadium. is Safe And Comfy Seating. Probably no more than a couple of hundred Goldstone oldies heavily pushing the agenda for Safe StandingNorth should always vote for safe standing. Problem is this stand has a load of duds in there.
Can't see the non singers voting for this and they seem to outnumber the singers
The only time I have ever seen an incident even close to crushing was a couple of seasons ago after the Palace game, which did genuinely get a little worrying for a few minutes. However that was outside the stadium (East) and completely of the club & police's own making.Point 2 is daft.
The club sanctioned standing in the back 6 rows from the off.
After we were promoted to the PL there was "standing creep" as the stewards either cba or were told not to enforce sitting down.
So, since the relaxation of the rules following promotion how many "falling/crushing" incidents have been recorded by the club? I've never seen one nor have I seen any reports of one on here. Ergo the current standing policy is clearly safe so save the money and inconvenience and leave things as they are.
