It's more about a few ageing zealots trying to recreate the long lost NS terracing vibe from the Goldstone. Like they're suddenly going to sing a bit louder now they'll have officially-sanctioned standing as opposed to doing the exact same thing they already do. TB must be wondering why he went to the trouble and expense of installing top-of-the-range comfy seats. Ungrateful urchins! :lolol:
Yeah very good, but a load of baloney; every club that has installed safe-standing has seen an uptick in atmosphere so why should Albion be different? Those who are currently in what will be the designated safe standing zone can move their season ticket to a seated area, allowing those who want to stand and sing to congregate better. At the moment we have separate groups spread across the NS with clutches of old farts in between. It stops song spreading.

That will only work if the standing non singers in the centre actually want to move. There still designated places, and no moving around.
