I'm thinking Sanchez also. Potter will want to not drop him unduly, for no real reason. Tho if things turn, er, TORRID v Burnley then expect to see Ryan back in for the Villa game
I just couldn't see GPott dropping Ryan because he keeps being on the recieving end of worldies.

But if his hand was forced, it could end up a bit of a costly for Ryan, as I can't see GPott (or any manager) chopping and changing keepers on a whim.

Amazing the difference a goalkeeper makes. Since Chelsea stopped playing their confused midfielder in goal, they've kept 6 clean sheets in 7 games and 5 in a row.

I think Steele will play tomorrow.

I think Ryan will be starting. Seems like a sensible man and probably reacted in a good way to GP's wake-up call.

You can’t switch keepers around like that.

Sanchez is going to be class for us. It’s his shirt to lose now.

Ron Greenwood would argue otherwise see Stilton/Clemence

But agreed, particularly in this case.

At least you don't have to read all the 'should have saved that' thread to know who thinking what re Ryan, you just need to look at Sanchez v Spurs.

'Didn't have anything to do was ok' - For Ryan
'Good display played well' - Against Ryan.

Had Ryan played an identical game to Sanchez, (inc allowing the ball across goal 4 yards out).

'Didn't have anything to do, was ok' - For Ryan
'What was Ryan thinking, distribution was poor and as for letting cross go, he seriously needs competition' - Against Ryan.

I'd like to see Sanchez to counter the aerial threat of Burnley.

Sanchez didn’t let it go across the 6 yard box, he got a hand to it.

Very harsh on Sanchez in my opinion, not even on the bench. Ridiculous man management. What message does it send to Sanchez?
