In the big bang media video...does anyone know what the shapes are (centre and right) that look like tornadoes/water spouts...am I being stoopid šŸ¤”
I can't shed any light on that. I hadn't played the video before, and at first glance, I thought it might be a column of smoke. Then I noticed it appeared to move around a bit, like a tornado. I'm as much in the dark as you are.

Edit: I think the centre one might be a road sign in the near distance. You can just make out the top of it as the glow from the explosions lifts. I don't know about the one on the right.

His death in prison was previously reported in February. There doesn't seem to be any confirmation that this most recent report of his death is any more accurate than the last... View attachment 190019
Iā€™d missed that about Girkin. From what Iā€™ve read he was close to Putin and part of his inner circle. obviously thatā€™s no guarantee of safety as Putin (like other dictators ) needs to be surrounded by ā€œyes menā€

I think I got that wrong about Girkin being close to Putin, but Iā€™m no less happy about his demise. I think he was a bit of a renegade and led pro Russian militia groups in the Donbas.

The bit about the 400 Shahed drones - may - actually be true:

Itā€™s possible too that in addition to the hardware there may have been human casualties including the military expertise who support the drone maintenance, training and transport etc.
Times Radio report today that North Korean casualties have been found in Ukraine - most likely engineers and specialist support staff, not frontline soldiers (yet)

Ingushetia is next door to Chechnya, and Georgia.

It could be something. It could be nothing, or very little, and will be quashed as usual.

Or it could be the first local warlords sensing an opportunity as Moscow weakens.

And now a big bavovna in Grozny, Chechnya:

It's kicking off.

Another unwelcome distraction for Putin who may have to divert resources that would otherwise be deployed against Ukraine. Repressed minority groups might well sense that now is a good time to flex their muscles while Putinā€™s resources are stretched.

From BBC news, a report on the tragic, yet seemingly inevitable death of a young Ukrainian journalist.

Another example of the lengths that Mr Genocide's regime will go to, in order to subvert press freedom, and ultimately the truth.
