Having watched that video, I feel really guilty that I was naive enough to sympathise with the Ukrainian aggressors, when in reality I should have thrown what little weight I have behind the poor downtrodden Russians. It's quite obvious that they've been alienated by the west, and forced into defending the motherland against Ukrainian aggression, western imperialism, and a western plot to paralyse the Russian economy. Silly me ! I might have trouble sleeping tonight. On the other hand, I might not.

. I think it highlights again that the recent marginal gains Russia has made in Kharkhiv region are down to intense artillery and glide bombs... certainly not down to the quality of ground troops or tactics.

Only if they don't leave them out in the open at airstrips much closer to the front line than they need to. Lost several aircraft they can't afford to this week because of this inexplicable blunder
Yes, that was crazy. Should negotiate to store them on NATO territory, then fly in via Ukrainian airfields. Unlikely to happen though.

Possibly. It's all words really isn't it. Shells are stored on NATO territory and then sent to Ukraine to be fired at Russians. Also have trained thousands of Ukrainian troops on NATO soil.

Good prediction: Orban met Putin today. Not surprisingly most of the EU nations aren’t happy. Whilst Orban’s visit wasn’t in the capacity of his new role as EU president, unfortunately perceptions will play into Putin’s hands. Orban is becoming a real pain in the butt.

I remember reading he was at some event in Moscow last year. Putin made him walk a few hundred yards, and he barely made it. He was in some distress. At least that was how it was reported.
