Either way, surely it plays into Russian hands in the sense that they can say that the west is censoring the ‘truth’. Who in the UK was watching it anyway?
Jolly Red Giant maybe?

I am happy to condemn any atrocities of the British Army, but not on this thread.
Mods, any chance we can ban this guy? At least from this thread?
Yeah I’m a Nazi too

May I ask how expensive it is to get this to Poland, where it's needed? I was shocked to see a van being loaded in Leeds, which they said would cost £2k to get to the refugees. They went on to say it was better for people to donate money, rather than items, which could be spent locally, rather than driven such a long way.
Excellent, well done!
Have you spoken to Asda and the like re donations? Tesco support local charities and whilst I have not heard anything from them re local collections for Ukraine, it may well be worth asking.
Can you open another thread about these incidents rather than de-rail this one ?Millions - and as a socialist I utterly condemn the actions of the Stalinist regime.

will you join me in condemning the atrocities committed my Winston Churchill when he used poison gas on Kurds and Afghans in 1919 and when he ordered British troops supporting the White counter-revolution in Russia to drop poison gas bombs on peasnat villages supporting the Bolsheviks during the Russian Civil War ?
will you join with me in condemning the murder of innocent civilians, facilitated by the gvovernment of Ted Heath, by British troops in Ballymurphy in Belfast in August 1971 and in Derry on Bloody Sunday in January 1972?
I'm still struggling to comprehend how Putin has described the Jewish President of Ukraine as a " Nazi drug addict " ..oh and actually seems to believe this !
I am a long way from been a cosy Tory but but so boring hearing from so many that just want to criticise government in such a difficult situation
Seriously **** off Putin fan boy.People should take note of the now hundreds of reports of both Ukrainian and Polish border guards battering people of colour out off the queues of refugees attempting to escape Ukraine - physically battering them with clubs and iron bars - men, women and children. Not surprising given the known role of fascist elements within the Ukrainian military and the racist anti-immigrant policies of the Polish government.
He said nothing of the sort, just told you to **** off, that's all. I think you're reading too much in to what just might be a common sentiment.

He's Irish and has an Irish/anti British agenda.
I'm surprised he hasn't yet suggested that if Zelenskyy get's taken down then Hughton should be his replacement.

Indeed cash is King. I'm going to donate tonight to the Red Cross appeal.People need to stop giving physical stuff and instead donate money. Quicker, safer and more cost effective. It’s lovely and heart warming to so the former but actually beginning to cause problems as the scale of this gets bigger by the hour.
I know some have said they can’t afford cash donation, but I bet there’s also a load of old junk being palmed off which will be problematic just as it is at charity shops. You’d be amazed at what people “donate”, sometimes it’s literally crap and costs money to clear up and dispose of! Not exactly what is call charitable.

Can't let what go? As Baldseagull says, it would be nice to have less ammunition to criticize our crap government with.Looks like you've just proved his point. Just can't let it go, even in times like this, eh?
